Why are Solar Buyers All Talking About the Latest LG NeON 2 Solar Panel Range?
Already a well known and loved choice amongst Aussie homeowners for their reliability and market-leading efficiency, the LG NeON 2 solar panel range just got an additional boost. A significant output and efficiency boost that is, and solar buyers who are in the market for best-in-class technology PLUS long lasting return on their solar investment are taking notice.

LG launched its revised versions of its NeON 2 panels in the United States in mid 2020. The latest series of NeON 2 60-cell modules has a maximum output of 365 W and an efficiency of 21.1 percent. The NeON 2 line’s initial edition achieved 350 W and a 20.7 percent efficiency rating.

LG Solar USA Senior Director Mr David Chang stated that this new module design “exemplifies how, via continued R&D investment, LG is at the forefront of high-efficiency, low-degradation, industry-leading solar panel modules.”

LG increased efficiency by adopting bigger wafers, which lower the amount of white space across cells while maintaining the industry standard of 60 cells for residential applications.

“Installers especially welcome the new module’s ease of installation and higher output with less roof space, while households will benefit from investing in cutting-edge renewable energy technology from a brand they know and respect,” Mr Chang added.

As with other LG solar panels, the newest series of modules comes with a “Triple 25-year warranty” covering the product, performance, and labour.

As with other LG solar panels, the newest series of modules comes with a “Triple 25-year warranty” covering the product, performance, and labour. The new NeON 2 modules will begin delivering to consumers in the United States in August, initially from LG’s production site in South Korea, then shortly thereafter from LG’s newly established Huntsville, Alabama, factory. LG raised its capacity in the United States from 500 to 550 MW this year via investment and workforce expansion.

Apart from the enhanced module power classes and efficiencies, LG’s new panels offer an uniform frame size throughout both the NeON 2 and NeON R product classes, resulting in increased operating efficiency.
A Harris survey performed during the epidemic indicates that demand in household solar goods has surged in the United States. “This is one of several LG solar solutions that we will bring to market this year to satisfy these demands,” Mr Chang noted.
